The Wait Is Over!

I apologize for the delay. I was not intentionally making everyone wait. After our last doctor's appointment, I spent the next couple of days getting ready for a quick trip up to see The Man's family for a reunion, and upon our return I had one day to finish getting ready for girls camp. I just got back on Saturday, and have been sleeping ever since. And that's barely an exaggeration. I feel like I cannot catch up on lost sleep from last week. I had an absolutely amazing time. I'll post pictures and tell stories of everything later, but for now I just wanted to end the suspense and let you all know that either the first week of January or the last week of December we will be welcoming another sweet baby boy to our family.

We feel so blessed to have been given this gift. The girls are absolutely thrilled that they are going to have another brother, and I am excited to have my baby boys be this close in age. And to answer a couple of questions, no, this was not planned, but we could not have asked for a better surprise. I am a tiny bit sad to come to the realization that I will have to let go of all my baby girl stuff for good. The last time I went through the girls' outgrown clothing, I gave away all but my very favorite items, in hopes of getting to use them again. And now I won't get to. But if I can't use them, at least I know someone else can. I will be waiting until the end of this month (when I find out what my sister is having), and then I will be getting rid of it all. If she is having a boy, my stuff will be up for grabs. Let me know if you or someone you know is in need of baby girl clothing.

Thanks to everyone who has commented and let us know that you are just as excited as we are. We are so grateful to have good friends to share good news with. We love you all.

What a perfect combo. The two girls will be best friends and the boys will be best buds.
How do you think little man is going to take a new one? How is he doing?
I am sad we didn't get to see you when you were in Utah but I understand it was probably a crazy fast weekend.

Guess what? I got released from YW on Sunday. I am sad but realize after 4 years it's probably time for a change for the girls and us. I'll definitely miss my Wednesday nights out with them. I can't wait to hear about your girls camp adventures!

Congratulations! Boys are so fun. But I did paint Ella's toes for the first time this morning and started to realize girls are so fun too! They both have their unique blessings and challenges. :)

Congrats! I felt pretty sure it was a boy. Take it from one who has all their boys close in age, it is wonderful! Don't let anyone tell you different, brothers are the best. I just love to watch my little boys play together....now if I could just get another little girl.

Congratulations!!! A baby BOY!!! In truth, I used to be a bit disappointed when people found out that they were having boys . . . because I thought girls were the only way to go. Now, I know the joy you all knew about before me. Hooray for boys!!!

That's so exciting! I heard all about the new baby brother on Sunday!

We will welcome any help we can get. We've moved most of our stuff throughout the week so basically what is left is furniture. Have Ty give Garrett a call. I will email his number to you!

I'm glad I got to talk to you on the phone (sorry for ending it so rudely). Anyway, Congrats on the baby boy, I'm jealous you get 2 boys and 2 girls. I guess I'm not done yet (now I have to try for another girl). Well, it was good talking to you (and your dad). BTW, I LOVE YOUR DAD!!!! He is so sweet and was very helpful for our trip to San Diego.

Thank you for your very kind comments on my blog the other day. They really meant a lot to me.

Hope to visit the ward very soon. I am lonely and missing everyone already.
